You Can't Have New Toys Unless You Take Care of the Ones You Already Have

I'm not talking about the stuff here, I'm talking about habits. If we've finished one room during a session and you want to move on to another room for our next, then make sure the first room works for you. But if I come back and the first room is just as cluttered as before, then let's figure out why. What did we miss in the first session? If you just didn't have enough time to tidy it before I came, then go ahead and tidy it now - I'll wait. Maybe next time you can set a timer for 10 minutes before I get there and do it on your own. Maybe, though, it's because we forgot about one key aspect to the way you use the space - let's discuss and adjust.

Over and over and over we do this.

I'm not going to move on to new areas until we've mastered the ones we've already completed. In some cases, it's an accountability tool and sometimes it's trial and error. I'm not interested in quick fixes - I play the long game.
